I’m a product/industrial designer and engineer with a BA in Industrial Design (Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico) and an MSc in Integrated Product Design (Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands). I have experience working in 4 different countries (UK, The Netherlands, India & Mexico). I like to work in projects that are exciting, challenging and meaningful. I don’t want to stagnate working in the same thing over and over. I like to be dynamic, always changing, staying out of my comfort zone. I learn fast and well, I’m adventurous, entrepreneurial, and trust my guts, I like to do, build, repair, tweak, mod, carve, mill, cut, sand, and of course create. I like technology, electronics, and software. I love sports, especially football. I love arts, especially music & films. I play & build electric guitars, and I love everything that has to do with it (amps, effects, accessories, etc.). I’m sociable, relaxed and playful, but serious and committed. 3D designer with six years industry experience working in both the retail and military sectors. I am fully versed in creating realistic models in 3Ds Max for use as either visualisations, animations or for real-time applications. As a Fine Art graduate, I am skilled at creating compelling imagery to best illustrate a concept. Currently working full time in-house as a 3D Media Developer for Babcock on a naval contract but seeking other opportunities to utilise my skillset outside of working hours. In my previous roles at Kantar Consulting, I have successfully led real-time projects for bluechip clients including Unilever, L'Oreal, Duracell, Shell, Alliance Japan to name a few. Hi, I am a freelance 3D Visualiser and qualified Architectural Technician based in Leeds (UK) skilled in 3DS Max/V-ray & AutoCAD. I work in close liaison with architects, developers, marketing agencies and design consultants to produce architectural CGI which is used primarily to communicate design concepts to clients. Working on projects throughout the UK, I provide still imagery, VR and animations to facilitate the marketing and planning requirements of projects, as well as being used as a means of securing project funding and sponsorship. I have over 25 years experience working in a design environment, working with AutoCAD since 1989 & in the mid 1990's I worked as a beta tester for Autodesk and in 1998 had 3D work published in CADdesk magazine. I get most of my work through recommendations, as I put a high value on the quality of work and the ability to hit agreed deadlines. Fees are generally agreed either as a 'fixed fee per project', on a 'daily rate' or 'monthly retainer' for longer term projects.
