About
I am an experienced mechanical and aerospace engineer with a proven track record of designing components currently flying on rockets. I hold a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London, a globally top-10 university.
My capabilities include but are not limited to:
- Product Design (hand sketches/design conceptualization)
- Consulting and Recommendations for Design for Manufacturability, Material Selection, and Manufacturing Methods
- Design for Manufacturing – Injection Molding, CNC Machining, Forming, Casting, etc.
Mold Design
- 3D Modeling
- Sheet Metal (3D Model and DXF Files with bends and cut lines)
- 3D Simulation and Analysis (stress/strain/fluid flow/volumetric analysis/fatigue analysis/center of gravity/etc.)
- Dynamic Motion Simulation
- 3D Renderings (Photo Realistic)
- 2D Engineering Drawings (ASME Y14.5 Standard)
- Assembly Drawings with BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Design Specification Drawings
- Tech Packs
I have launched a freelance mechanical design engineering practice, StellarForged, working with a diverse range of clients—from small startups to established companies.
Whether you're tackling a fundamental engineering challenge or navigating a complex problem, I provide the expertise and support needed to drive your success.

Mechanical Design Engineer | Precision CAD + DFM Expertise
- Led design improvements for SpaceX Starship solenoid valves, reducing dropout current variability and increasing joint torque by 300%, directly enhancing flight reliability.
- Designed and built a precision crimping tool to assemble solenoid armatures—consolidated a multi-step process into a single press with dual-load capability. Released full ASME Y14.5-compliant technical drawing package.
- Executed part-level design changes to poppets and armatures, qualified through rigorous vibration testing to meet flight-readiness standards.
- Developed next-gen ship compensators with enhancements to both build and test workflows. Updated system-level leakage specs and authored a MATLAB tool to analyze friction performance from test data—uncovering and resolving key design inefficiencies.

On the Flight Controls team assisting preparations for the first orbital launch attempt of Starship.
• Studied Raptor 2 P&IDs, learning valves and operational procedures of this engine.
• Completed Raptor rocket engine checkouts on Booster 7 and Ship 24 in preparation for static fire testing.
• Calibrated the orbital farm LOX and LN2 tanks pressure transducers, working with the digital control
systems team doing the calibration in field, ensuring error from the data acquisition system was included.
• Updated the pad software with the new calibration curves using the Git workflow and Jira ticketing system.
• Created work packets to add line blinds to the LCH4 system, updated the pad CAD files using NX, Teamcenter workflow with the new valves along with the P&IDs. Made engineering weld drawings,
sourced quotes, and arranged meetings with suppliers to finalize purchase order.
• Added pneumatic isolation valves on the launch tower allowing for modular safing of the tower’s remote
valves, added these valves to the launch countdown procedure
